Gaziantep Museum of Cultural History

Located in the central library building of Gaziantep University, the museum was opened in 2009 and still accepts visitors. Examples of Gaziantep archeology, original cultural assets and documents, cultural phases of Gaziantep from the 12th century to the present day are presented in a chronological narrative. In the museum where the city culture is discussed, there are sections such as ‘Important Personalities of the City’, ‘Antep Dialect and Language Features’, ‘Important Events in City Life’, ‘Photography’, and fossils from Gaziantep and its surroundings are displayed.
