The Martyrs' Monument and Cemetery, built with resources financed by the Gaziantep Municipality and the people of the time to commemorate the martyrs of the Antep Defense, is located at the Çınarlı Front, the most significant position of the Antep Defense. The Martyrs' Monument and Cemetery, representing the sacred martyrs, has been converted into a museum under the name of Antep Defense Martyrs' Cemetery and Respect Museum by the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality.
The Women Martyrs Monument was erected by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality in memory of 83 women who fell as martyrs during the War of Independence. It is the first monument in Turkey dedicated to female martyrs. According to General Staff records, 6,317 people from Antep were martyred in the War of Independence, of which 83 were women. Due to the burial of the martyr women in Boyacı Mosque, the monument was built in the courtyard of Boyacı Mosque in Şahinbey district.
Hisar Monumental Tomb is located in Hisar Village, Araban district of Gaziantep and is one of the significant monumental tombs that have survived from the Roman period to the present day. The structure, approximately 10 meters high, is made of cut stone and consists of a high base, a body with Corinthian column capitals, and a pyramidal roof. There is a column capital on the roof, where it is believed a statue once stood. Although it is unknown to whom the monument belongs, it is dated to the late 2nd century to the early 3rd century AD.
Elif Monumental Tomb is located in Elif Village, which is part of Gaziantep's Araban district. The village is known as the city of Sugga, located at the intersection of important roads in ancient times. The monumental tomb, dating back to the Roman Period, is made of hewn stone and built on a high base. It is notable for its arched facades, Corinthian columns, and pyramidal roof. The structure is dated to the late 2nd century to the early 3rd century AD and is considered one of the most magnificent Roman monumental tombs in the region.
